Common questions from UK families
Is learning the Quran online as effective as in-person classes?
Yes. One-to-one online Quran classes consistently deliver faster progress than group madrasah classes, because the teacher can correct pronunciation in real time and lessons are paced to the individual student. Many UK families now choose online classes as their primary Quran education.
How do I know which Quran course my child should start with?
If your child cannot yet read Arabic letters, start with Noorani Qaida. Once they can read joined words fluently, move to Qur'an Reading with Tajweed. Hifz begins only after Tajweed reading is solid. Our free trial class includes an assessment to determine the right starting point.
What is the best age to start learning the Quran?
Most children begin Noorani Qaida between ages 4 and 6, once they can focus for a 20–30 minute lesson. Adults can begin at any age — thousands of UK adults start their Quran journey from scratch every year, and the effort carries a special reward.
How long does it take to learn to read the Quran with Tajweed?
With two or three 1-to-1 lessons per week and 15–30 minutes of daily home practice, most children complete Noorani Qaida in 4–8 months and reach confident Tajweed reading within 6–12 months. Adult learners often progress faster because they practise more consistently.
